KUNJUNGAN KMH ke KPID JAWA TIMUR
Dalam rangka memperingati Hari Anak Nasional 2020, Kamis 23 Juli 2020 pada pukul 13.00 , Komunitas Mata Hati melakukan kunjungan ke Komisi Penyiaran Indonesia Daerah Provinsi Jawa Timur.
Perwakilan KMH diterima oleh Gandi wicaksono selaku Komisioner Bidang Sosialisasi dan Literasi Konten Siaran bersama beberapa Staff Monitoring KPID dengan tetap memperhatikan dan menerapkan protokol kesehatan.
KMH melakukan kunjungan dengan tujuan mensosialisasikan bahwa difable harus ikut melibatkan diri untuk memberikan kontribusi agar konten siaran di Jawa Timur lebih ramah anak dan difable. Dalam bincang-bincang siang itu Riska salah satu Staff Monitoring menanyakan apa yang diharapkan KMH untuk konten siaran di Jawa Timur. ” Difable harus diajak ikut serta untuk berkontribusi dalam merumuskan, mengimplementasikan, serta mengevaluasi konten siaran.” Jawab Alfian salah satu perwakilan KMH yang baru saja menyelesaikan kuliah S1 Antropologi di Universitas Airlangga Surabaya.
Alfian menambahkan keterlibatan difable sangat diperlukan agar mereka tak hanya bisa menuntut tapi ikut berkontribusi melakukan kewajibannya sebagai warga negara yang baik dengan kompetensi yang mereka miliki.
Di kesempatan siang itu Alfian juga mensosialisasikan bagaimana difable netra menggunakan gawai dengan teknologi masa kini yang memudahkan aktifitas mereka termasuk dalam belajar dan mengakses informasi di internet.
Danny selaku Ketua Komunitas Mata Hati juga menyerahkan oleh-oleh berupa file mars KPI yang diperbaiki oleh Prayoga yang berprofesi sebagai pemusik.
Di akhir kunjungan, KMH melantunkan dua buah lagu yang dinyanyikan oleh Syirin, siswa SD LB YPAB Surabaya dan diiringi oleh Danny dan Prana pemain guitar, serta Aswar/Ipung pemain bass guitar.
Danny saat ini sedang menyelesaikan proses yudisium sebagai mahasiswa S2 Magister Kebijakan Public Universitas Airlangga Surabaya, sedangkan Prana dan Ipung sedang menjalani semester akhir S1 Pendidikan Musik di Universitas Negeri Surabaya.
Untuk memperkenalkan bagaimana Monitoring siaran TV dan Radio dilakukan, Staff Monitoring KPID Jawa Timur mengajak seluruh perwakilan KMH untuk menyaksikan secara langsung bagaimana kegiatan Monitoring dilakukan. Tak lupa mereka juga mendeskripsikan kepada perwakilan KMH yang difable netra bagaimana situasi dan kondisi di ruangan Monitoring.
Kunjungan ini diharapkan dapat mengajak semakin banyak orang untuk memandang difable dengan lebih positif dan tidak membantu mereka secara berlebihan agar difable tidak terampuhkan di tengah masyarakat yang akhirnya menjadi beban.
